Dr. Kathleen Gillis
Dr. Gillis is a clinical/forensic psychologist licensed to practice in Oregon. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in 2005, her master's degree in counseling psychology from Pacific University in 2001, and her bachelor's degree in cognitive psychology from the University of Oregon in 1987.
Dr. Gillis is currently in private practice in Portland, Oregon. Areas of expertise include divorce adjustment, attachment issues, domestic violence, and adolescent girls. She has conducted extensive research on language and memory in adults and neuropsychological functioning in adolescents. She also has experience in special education.
Dr. Gillis serve as President on the Board of Directors of the AFCC Oregon Chapter (Association of Family and Conciliation Courts). She is also involved with the Portland Collaborative Divorce group, and enjoys studying the application of psychology within the legal field.
In her spare time, Dr. Gillis enjoys hiking, swimming, biking, skiing, gardening, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for her favorite NFL team.
